To support our customers, who have accidentally damaged their cartridges or customers who have an out-of-warranty Moving Coil cartridge, Ortofon offers Special Repair and Exchange service

Exchange service for Moving Coil cartridges

Styli in Moving Coil (MC) cartridges are non-replaceable. To support our customers, who have accidentally damaged their cartridges or customers who have an out-of-warranty Moving Coil cartridge, Ortofon offers an Exchange service. We take cartridges in any condition back regardless of where the cartridge purchase originally took place.

How Exchange Service works: we offer the customer to buy back his cartridge for 25% of the current price list provided that the customer will buy a new Ortofon cartridge, either equivalent or better model.

Exchange Service cartridges must be returned to Ortofon and will be handled by any authorized Ortofon dealer pursuant to the purchase of a new cartridge. If you should have the need for this service, please contact your local Ortofon Partner.

NB: SPU cartridges are not included in the Exchange program, but in the Special Repair program, please read the below:
 

Ortofon Special Repair Service

Ortofon SPU Series, Exclusive Series (MC Windfeld, MC A90, Xpression, MC A95 and MC Anna), Vintage Series (MC Jubilee and MC Kontrapunkt Series) and the Cadenza Series are the cartridges of very high quality. To support our customers, who have accidentally damaged their cartridges, Ortofon offers a Special Repair Service.


Aftersales service for Moving Magnet cartridges

Ortofon Moving Magnet (MM) cartridges can be serviced by replacing the stylus.
