How to replace a cartridge

In this video, Leif Johannsen explains, how to upgrade your system by installing a new cartridge. Replacing your existing cartridge with a new one can seem like a complicated process. Luckily, this is not the case: Leif takes you through the process of both dismounting your current cartridge and mounting a new one, while explaining the similarities and differences between the OM 5E and 2M Red.

How to upgrade within the 2M Series

In this video Leif Johannsen takes you through the acclaimed Ortofon 2M series. When Leif Johannsen started at Ortofon in 2007, then-Chief Engineer Per Windfeld was working on development of the 2M Series. Leif joined the process, and the engineers completed the work on 2M Series development together. Today, the 2M Series, comprises of the 2M Red, 2M Blue, 2M Bronze, and 2M Black, has become iconic for Ortofon.

Leif Johanssen explains the Ortofon invented color-coding system, goes through the individual characteristics of each 2M model and suggests upgrade within the 2M series.
